Hello everyone,
I'm writing to invite you to the next series of Yoga classes I am offering at Hills road sports centre this term, beginning this Thursday 24th April which will run for 5 weeks.
I'm sharing a photograph I took at Derwent water in the Lake District - in the magical weather week! I love the stillness of this picture, the colour of the sky and the lake - the quietness and the calm. A break from routine really is a gift.
In our classes I'll be aiming to help us all cultivate a calmness and centeredness much like this. Over the years I have found that the practice of Yoga has helped me to learn a lot about myself, the way my body works and moves and also how my breathing can help me manifest a sense of calm and acceptance of the moment and of myself. We are distracted by so much in our daily lives- we morph into so many versions of ourselves in our jobs, private lives whilst negotiating the day to day... Taking time to regularly ground and orient ourselves towards just being is ultimately an act of self care that grows into all other aspects of our lives. It helps us to cope better, feel better and carry ourselves more fully and steadily into all situations. I hope you will join me.
This half term is a 5 week block from Thursday 24th April to Thursday 22nd May. 6.25pm - 7.30pm in The Studio Hills road Sports Centre
All 5 sessions can be booked for £50 or drop in rate of £15 per class (please check availability first by emailing)
Please message me to let me know you would like a spot, and payment should be made before the first class.
Please note, payment is needed to secure a place in the class.
All sales are final and non refundable unless the centre or the teacher has to cancel. Please email me for instructions on how to pay.
Looking forward to practice with you all
with love,
Monika
