Frequently Asked Questions

I’m new to yoga — can I still come to class?

Absolutely. You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or know any poses. My classes are designed to meet you where you are — whether this is your first class or your hundredth. You're very welcome.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, please do get in touch beforehand so I know you're coming — especially if it's your first time. This also gives me a chance to check in about any injuries or needs you may have.

What should I bring to class?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, and perhaps a warm layer or blanket for relaxation at the end. Some venues have mats/equipment, If you don’t have a mat, just let me know — I may have a spare.

What if I have an injury or health condition?

You’re always encouraged to listen to your body and adapt the practice as needed. If you’re managing an injury or condition, please make sure to mention it in advance. I can suggest the right class for you and offer modifications during sessions.

What kind of yoga do you teach?

My classes are gentle, grounding, and guided by the seasons. They focus on presence, breath, and listening to the body — rather than achieving specific shapes. It's a mindful, accessible approach that supports strength, softness, and rest
